What the Site actually uses
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — cookie-free, privacy-first aggregate measurement. It does not store identifiers on your device or track you across sites.
- Google Analytics 4 — measurement cookies (such as _ga) that help us understand aggregate traffic and which pages and tools are used. Used for site improvement only — not for advertising. You can block or clear these in your browser at any time; the Site works fully without them.
- localStorage — some interactive tools (for example, the Ecosystem Map's "previously explored" state) save progress in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and can be cleared through your browser settings at any time.
- Strictly necessary cookies from service providers — if you choose to make a support payment, the payment processor's hosted checkout (e.g., Stripe) may set cookies necessary for fraud prevention and checkout function, governed by the processor's own policies.
Managing storage
You can clear localStorage and cookies through your browser's privacy settings. The Site remains fully functional without them; interactive tools simply won't remember prior visits.
